With all this scary news making the headlines, is this really a good time to buy stocks? I know everyone says the market is ripe enough for buying but will stocks tank further this year? How long until a full stock recovery? How are other people in this market raking in over $250k gains within months, I'm really just confused at this point.

Bitcoin is a new internet protocol for transferring value. A digital commodity. Crypto on the other side is 99% cash-grabs with new buzz-words every few years (ICOs, NFTs, web 3, ...).

Why is fin tech bad, just because it's old?
I need my money to be well integrated in my life, fast, cheap and secure.
Also I want consumer protection, as banking is a commodity I don't want to think about.

How is crypto improving that?

I do about 5% crypto and in the crypto space there's Bitcoin and there's everything else. I'm comfortable with that percentage and putting the rest into blockchain and gold.

Is crypto essentially a digital medium of exchange whereby, at the end of the day, I could exchange it for traditional money or use it to purchase goods & services? I'm trying to grasp its appeal.

Dogecoin runs on the lightning network code same as bitcoin and it was created before Ether because Dogecoin is the perfect currency for everything everywhere and inflation goes down the more we use it. BTC is perfect as investment such as gold replacement. Ether was created for contracts.
