This is by far my favorite performance of the song, maybe even of all of Fleetwood Mac's performances. Not only Stevie, but the whole band is just so on point for this. I wish I could've been there.

There's one performance of Rhiannon, I can't recall where or when, that to me is the greatest live performance of any song anywhere. Stevie puts to much into that performance, it gives me chills. You can actually see Mick and Buckingham getting energized by it.

As she got higher and higher, so did her music. That and her eyesight is terrible. She had a fear of performing in front of her fans. But taking her glasses or contacts out, she said she didn't see them as she performed.

Well, HER explanation for wearing long, flowing garments, especially black ones, was that her being around 5 foot tall, you'd never see her on the stage if she wasn't wearing something showy. That she would just blend in with the equipment, etc. It was a question, in her explanation, of being seen, primarily. She had always liked long, flowing things anyway from when she was very young, she said.

that really is one of her most passionate performances of “Rhiannon” and in later days she states “this is a song about an old welsh witch” so this is accurate as a lifelong listener (my mother was a HUGE FM fan so I’ve always heard them and her forever literally lol)
