Will you in the near future review some of the wonderful JDM rods like the Shimano Exsense Infinity, Daiwa Labrax and other shiny rods that we can not see in Europe or US in that matter? It would be incredible helpful to the anglers who consider importing JDM rod but have no source to learn any meaningful info about it.
I bought JDM rod only because I met an angler who was fishing with one and he let me try it for few minutes. Loved it and ordered one from Japan the next day.
There lots of superb rods from Shimano and Daiwa that we never hear about but they are dream to fish with. For instance, the Nessa XR would be a good start and Looking forward to watching such reviews.

I’m going to buy Twin Power reel, since you have experienced both 21 TPxd & 24 TPfe.
Which one do you recommend for surf casting from the beach and jetty? Targeting striped bass, bluefish, mackerel & bonito using lures (30 to 60 gr) most of the time. Looking forward for your input, thank you!

Nice. I just got a 4000PG Japanese model. It has a power handle. That's not why I bought it. But it's a bonus. It's the slowest ratio option. I think the higher speed ratio Japanese models also have a T type handle. But the 5000 also has a power handle.

I will mainly use it for lure fishing for pike. I also got a 5000 size spool. As the 4000 and 5000 size reels have the same body. So you can switch spools. I think the same goes for the 2500 and 3000 sizes. It's that way with most Shimano reels. But there may be some exceptions.

Loaded mine with eight strand Sunline Castaway in 50lb test. Ordered the lot from Japan.

The FE is sold is the US and most or all of Europe. The Japanese models have different named models. E.g. PG instead of FE. But seem pretty much identical.

Anyway I'm hoping mine will last. It won't see the salt. Which should help long-term.

We shall see.

Great video, thank you! Are you able to do a casting distance measurement between 24 twin power and certate? A few people have said that infinity loop feels like it casts further but I'm keen to see if it really does by measuring casts in a field.

Awesome review! I just like to get your opinion on the Daiwa certare 5000 size compared to the twin power 4000. I was thinking of spooling in PE #4 braided line in a smaller reel for all day casting and i onlyneed 100m of line for my style of fishing, but the certare 4000 doesn't fit 100m of PE #4. I like to know if the certare 5000 size is comparable to the twin power 4000 in terms size, weight and all day castability. I know the certare 4000 comes in a 4000D CXH-A model with a deeper spool, but I can't find it on sale anywhere. This model will fit 100m of PE #4 line easily.

Is the main shaft made of the same material as TP20? If it is, then it's easily corroded.

This reel is not even close to the certate. Infinity loop is a scam and shimano is known for there gears to fail under heavy load. I did a series of test with the imz limit breaker vs the Antares and the Antares failed miserably.

not robust, owned many and changed to a different brand due to weak gears, hard to maintain due to too many parts, bearing rust and drag skips and very jerky
