Matthew, I have been friends with this guy for 2yrs. I have been told my relationship with him is toxic. He has a girlfriend now & @ 1 point I did thought that I want to be his girlfriend. However, he's actions r questionable to me since he says he loves me as a friend. He got mad at me for unfollowing 1 of his social media accounts & told me to follow him again. When he reads my Snapchat posts, he automatically thinks its him I'm referring to when mostly it's not. I vented on my Snapchat that I need to cut some people off in my circle & he immediately texted me bye and spelled my name wrong. I wasn't referring to him & questioned him about it. He told me that I'm condescending him & talk to him like a child & to stop it. None of my posts are offensive to him, but I'm not sure where me talking to him like a child comes from. So I have some real advice. I told my now fiance on our first official date that I loved her. It just slipped out. And she was shocked but she said she loved me too. Now keep in mind, we had been friends for a whole year before this, but this sort of thing is not black and white. If you’re just getting to know somebody, it might take a while. But if it’s there it’s there and there’s no reason to be scared of it.
