Regardless of how well--intended executives may be, it is all too easy for them to do considerable damage at a strategic account while thinking they are making a valuable contribution. This session will specifically spell out the do's and don'ts for how an executive can be leveraged at a strategic account. Sometimes executives are confused about their role, but oftentimes the SAM is more confused about how, where, and when to use an executive.

Interesting video and I think that often account managers spend way to much time at the bottom of the pyramid with Individual contributors because that's where the day-to-day problems mostly are. Account Managers by nature are problem solvers and jump into solution mode easily. Problem is it's not very strategic and while we're busy sorting out day-to-day issues (that probably belong with some other department to fix) - we're neglecting the top of the pyramid and not building the relationships we need with senior execs and c-level. What do you think?
