Types of DC Generators - Types of DC Motors -Classification of DC Machine on the Basis of Exitation

In this video lecture we will talk about what are the types of dc generators.Based on the method of excitation generators can be classified as separately excited generator and self excited generator.Self excited generator can be farther classified as shunt wound,series wound and compound wound similarly compound wound is classified as long shunt and short shunt.In this video lecture we will take actual as well as equivalent diagram of each generator.

Question wuld a multi pole transformer react with dc motor?
In sence of turning for exampel turning ordinary shund dc motor to a series ore compound dc motor?
Wuld that by posibel?
I see some peopel use those old 6v generators and put curent to the field wire as well and that thing spins up faster aperantly some thing gets fried is that considered as a series motor as well if you bypass that wire? Im mostluly confused about those things for exampel if you brake a magnet in a dc motor wuld that not create from a 2 piece magnet 4 piece magnet with 4 sets of poles? Wuld that thing not act ac generators rather then dc?
What wuld hapen if you use biger brushes and you actualy tuch 2-3 segments of a commitator at once?
What wuld hapen if you take out soft steel core out of the stator and put in stead laminated steel insted? And why some dc motors have 90 and some 180° brush seperation distance ore 2 and 4 brush armatures diferences?
