It's a "CLEAN" marketing FREE-FOR-ALL.  Because just about every item on these shelves is toxic.

Before we get into this, what brands are you surprised to see that have toxic ingredients?

Maybe we should call it CLEANwashing like greenwashing. You know when brands falsely claim to be better alternatives for your home through strategic marketing. Using words such as “botanicals” “natural” “essence”, "CLEAN" and "so on," but still containing toxic ingredients! 🙄

This is definitely the case with Mr. Meyers (the queen of greenwashing) and even Seven Generations have a few ingredients that I always avoid.

Now, if you use any of these dish products or laundry detergent, I suggest you go back and read the labels line by line. Check for these ingredients:

⚠ Benzisothiazolinone- Skin Allergies & Irritation
⚠PEG-2 Cocomonium Chloride- (Developmental &Reproductive Toxicity
⚠Methylisothiazoline (linked to nerve damage by the NIH / Skin Allergies & Irritation
⚠Phenoxyethanol-Developmental & Reproductive Toxicity
⚠Fragrance-Asthma/Respiratory undisclosed concoctions of chemicals and most likely glycol ethers, as with many SC Johnson products)
