Scripting Generative Art in Python

In this video, I walk through what generative art is and show you how to get started scripting your own using the Python PIL library.

I thought this was pretty cool! Glad I stumbled across this channel. I knew PIL was capable of image handling, but I never thought to use it for image generation! Something that might be cool to do: Instead of using a uuid, put the entire script into a enum loop, and use the iteration as the file name, then create a gif with the ordered output.

Hi! I was wondering if you would be able to do a 'walk through' video for setting up your 'set up' to do this. I tried installing VSC, but couldn't really get it to work, didn't know where to download PIL, didn't know where to input code etc. A good idea for a video, would be as if you're a complete beginner and walking through downloading all the software, the set up, what all elements to download to get to the point you can start coding etc. Thanks!

Is there a way of making a color grid where instead of randomly getting the square's location, they can fit into one another nicely?

Could anyone tell me whether or not this script could work with generating with 3d model characters with different character traits? If not could you possibly point me to the script I would need to use for something like this.
