This animation was relatively popular on my Instagram on my L post for 36 Days of Type, so I decided to make a tutorial on how I achieved the animation which is created by Matt Taylor in Houdini but using Blender and the Animation Nodes add-on.

Tag me on Instagram with your artwork if you recreate this. I'd love to see your unique interpretations.

You're one of the few blender python resouces out, thank you! I've been trying this and haven't gotten far because I immediately got an error for line for saying that bm wasn't defined. The bm_new = bm also came up with an error when I moved that up. I appreciate you for sharing :)

Thanks for sharing! Was wondering how to use the script node in AN, and especially with this. I saw the tutorial of Houdini, and there's a Sverchok version of it too. This is very useful for procedural greebles implementation. Would love to see more of this!
