The Bourne Legacy expands the Bourne universe created by Robert Ludlum with an original story that introduces us to a new hero (Jeremy Renner) whose life-or-death stakes have been triggered by the events of the first three films.

Exactly. Traveling with Bourne through the first three movies made it feel like you were him in a way. Neither of you knew anything the other didn't, and you would figure things out at the same time. To me, that made the emotional connection. Hopefully there's more to this movie than what we saw in the trailer..

What I really like about this trailer is that it doesn't give the plot away. We're given a few pieces, but in such a way that you're left guessing how it all fits together and fits in with the other 3 movies. Really keen to see this movie now!

I've been a strong fan since the first Bourne film and my doubts of this fourth installment have all vanished. I can't wait for this film to come out. This film is in good hands, go get 'em, Renner!

The trailer looks good, and its sticking to the genre and style of the previous three. Allen and Strathairn have returned, and we now have three good actors introduced into the series. Renner is a rising star, and was impressive as the lead in Hurt Locker. Weisz has build up a strong CV, but the most impressive man to join the cast is Norton. and the Director and Writer: Tony Gilroy. He wrote the screenplay for all three of the orginal films, and will direct this film!

Hell... yes. I thought if they were to do anymore of these, it'd be with Jason Bourne as the main character n' possibly even end up just dragging out the same storyline, which would still be amazing, but this is even better! This has potential to really keep the franchise going. Bravo.

I'm a HUGE bourne and matt damon fan but unlike all these people im not freaking out that the two dont go together. Jeremy renner is a fantastic actor and he's not even playing the same character. its just a related story line. I actually cant wait for this movie. Its gonna be awesome! Stop hating

I'll admit to being a little hesitant about this when I heard Matt Damon wasn't coming back, but damn, one look at the cast--and the fact it's written/directed by Tony Gilroy--should eliminate any doubts. None of the previous Bourne movies have a cast this good.

Jeremy Renner is such a beast in "The Town" and "The Hurt Locker" I have no doubts that he will be badass in this.

Really enjoyed it. I'm a huge Bourne fan so I was very sceptical but it was good and had the whole Bourne feel. Think Renner did a great job.

Glad that they have changed Renner's character so he's not just a 2nd actor playing Jason Bourne. As soon as I found that fact out this movie appealed to me about 20 times mores. Looking forward to it! Renner is a great actor and imagine if Matt Damon (who hasn't ruled out a return to the later spin-offs) teamed up with Renner, unstoppable!
