The economics of love - this is a subject I had never even considered! What a brilliant perspective

This is so true, and why have so few people seen this? This is worth sharing and I will.

What a brilliant talk! The honesty and truth she delivers is like the pragmatic cousin of Alain de Botton’s philosophical thoughts on love. Just wonderful!

1:37 is the perfect description of how I imagined love until I was at least 35! No wonder it took me so long to figure out how to be in a healthy relationship.

Oh my word! What a fun talk! I thoroughly enjoyed this, and now feel like I have a bit of information to improve my dating odds.

Look, humans have been taking a whimsical approach to love for decades and, statistically speaking, it's not going well. So I'm all for this scientific approach!

This might be beneficial for some people but I think it's better to just be single than to settle for something less than what you want.

"Who you meet matters more than what you want." I understand what she's saying but it's such a brash way of putting it. How about, seeing people for who they are instead of what you want them to be?

Maybe I'm missing the point of t his talk entirely but it seems like she's just advising people to compromise?

I get where she's coming from and I can see the merit in it but.... I don't know. It just seems a bit... cold? Clinical? Maybe I've been brainwashed by Disney or something but I don't think love should be this logical.
