This is one of the cooler B-17 models I've come across in my events travels. It was built from a Bob Holman B-17 plan (heavily modified during the build) and is one of two that took about 4 years to complete. It was fiberglassed and finished with Flite Metal and powered by four Saito 91 four strokes. IT looked and sounded great! (more info below) #B17 #RCPlane #warbirds

Balls of steel to keep jumping in those aircraft to go bomb. I can imagine what my face would be if I finished flight school and they told me I was being assigned to a bomber wing instead of a fighter wing.

Awesome 👍 don't know if you had it but back in the day when I was a kid we had thin card board paper planes that had a rubber band to wind up and when it was tight just released it and it would take off
