Cute cats: Rare sand kittens born in Tel Aviv

Four rare sand kittens, considered to be extinct in Israel, have been born at a safari park in Tel Aviv. Report by Lindsay Brown.

I live in Israel, I’m actually going there in 15 days. If you travel to Tel Aviv, you can see a lot of cats everywhere. I actually have a sort of pet cat there, her name is Pitski

They are amazing. Only sand cats can survive in the harshest, barren environment and have no predators. I hope people protect them and leave them alone. They're not pets.

one good argument for the desert to get bigger every year. more space for Sand Cats.

The sand kittens' parents are from Poland and Germany, just like so many other Israelis exiled a couple thousand years ago.

thsandcat is not thee only species of wild cat living in thdesert. in fact there is a new species of cat recently discovered in the usa. I discovered a new species of cat above los angeles which was also discovered at about thsame time by april langford which they are calling the mojave desert cat. however they are wrong in concluding it only lives in the mojave.

Instead of possessing a sand cat you can show ALL YOUR LOVE FOR ANIMALS if you stop eating meat, fish, eggs, milk and it's products, eat organic vegan food and adopt a cat from your local shelter.
