It's easy for you to easy that. Financially blessed ka kasi. Madali talagang magsalita pag you're doing good in life. congratulations

I always think what makes more sense to me. To regret not having kids when I’m older or having them then regret it later? The fear of regret is just not enough reason to have them.

Thanks for sharing! This is a very complicated topic. 😊

before having kids,
1. heal from your traumas, or at least make ways to heal from them so that you won't pass your traumas to your kids.
2. Kaya talaga ang magkaanak basta ready kayo BOTH physically, spiritually, emotionally. Kung parehas kayong mature like Juancho and Joyce and you work or make ways to make family life work, kaya.
3. More than the passing of legacy or the enjoyment of having kids, think of their future din kung mabubuhay niyo ba sila nang maayos. Ikaw as parent enjoy na enjoy having kids or lots of kids pero anak mo nahihirapan pala sa attention na nabibigay mo or ninyong mag asawa.

So i understand why there are many dinks nowadays. Pero masaya din talaga may mga anak, having someone to share your love with aside from your spouse. Pero isipin mo lang din kung mabibigyan mo sila ng maayos na life with your current state.

For the husbands, kaya mo ba to handle yourself, a sinner + another sinner, your wife + another sinner your kid +++

Kaya the weight is in the fathers.

Anyway. Random thoughts.😂

I don’t think people who do not want to have kids are selfish. Marami dyan lumaking panganay and breadwinners who took care of their siblings and parents kaya napagod na. Hearing these statements i feel like they are coming from a place of privelege. Having kids is a luxury for most of us kaya sa mga millenials iniisip nila maigi if this is for them dahil ayaw na nila maranasan ang generational traumas and they are still healing their inner child. Not to discourage people who wants to have kids but to each their own. Also, when you ask people why do they want to have kids? Wala pa akong answer na narinig na i myself would want to have it din. Mostly are selfish answers. The kids have not asked for it. You do it solely because you want it. It is probably the most selfish thing you can do on earth. (Climate change, carbon print)Bringing a life that is completely dependent on you to this world. But these are just my thoughts. (Before someone gives unsolicited lecture, keep it to yourself. Im not here to debate)
Also to those people who in their selfishness say, "no one will take care of you when you get old", dont forget that nursing homes are also full of people with families. It's not a guarantee and it's not your child's responsibility.

I used to be one of those people who don't want kids and just wanted to live an independent life with a munchkin cat. haha but now I am married with a 2-year old and a another on the way next month. TBH, its SO hard. But also the best thing ever. It gave me a purpose and direction in life. Now I do everything for my kids and family. I always remember that God will provide and just put my trust in Him. I may be feeling FOMO at times when I see social media but being a mother is where its at for me. Thank God for the blessings!

Another thing I want to add for couples who are considering having kids is that you also need to consider aside from the financial aspect who your support system will be. Do you have a trusted yaya? Is your mom or mother in law willing to help? Someone (aside from yourselves) who will help you take care of your baby so you don’t lose yourself in the process especially for us moms, no matter how strong you think you are it really takes a village to raise a kid. 😊

Thank youuu, Joyce and Juancho for being an example for young Christian family, to really be in faith to what God has called us to do, to pray and trust Him and not to chase for things of this world.

Waaaah, so helpful naman this video. Just married last December . Same as Ate Joyce, I don’t want to have kids “yet” but now, I am reminded again that it is a calling && purpose that one day. We’ll raise the future generations that God will use to advance His kingdom. ❤

Pang privileged lang ang konsepto na “i can do both have kids and have a career.”

Takot kaming maranasan nila ung napagdaanan namin.

Live in the present. We cannot just plan, plan and plan because in the end, it is still God’s plan that prevails. 😊

I agree with Joyce. May purpose ang pag-aanak. It is God’s calling not because may hinahabol kang biological clock.❤

My mom had me when she was 33 and she's past 60 na while im in my early 30s. ngayon I'm struggling if I should have my own family or ingatan ang ageing parents. Having kids din kasi is such a huge responsibility lalo na financially. Also will I be a good mom? huhu

Thank you so much, Joyce and Juancho. You are correct children are not burden, sila pa ang magiging instrument para lumabas ang best version of yourself. ❤❤❤

To juancho. Kala nyo po walamg sense yung sinasabi nyo kc "sabaw" po kau😅.. As a wife, 1st mom and 19yrs with my partner everything u said was absolutely true and so direct to the point. More of this sana. 👍

You can say this because you are financially stable and have a supportive partner. Stop forcing your lifestyle on others and keep making videos about your family, but keep DINKs out of your mouth. Stop saying having children is the best thing blah blah, not everyone is like you.

So it’s really true that men have timelines in terms of when they wanna marry—it doesn’t matter who they meet at that exact time that they have “pre-decided” to get marry, if they have set it in stone, they will marry that girl.

While women consider a lot of things before marrying like it has to be the right man and it has to feel 100% right. 😄
