This video seems to be getting a lot of views lately for whatever reason - footer was on the bottom by accident, was set up in OBS that way and couldn't remove it after the fact. Also, the video is several years old so nothing I can really do about it.

Hope you enjoy it anyways!

The Footer should be on top when you do ableton videos. it is a bit annoying to not completely see the devices....

Bro, why would you put your subscription banner in the part of the screen where all of the action happens?

if your operator sounds different, you might want to check the sustain of osc a and b and set it to -0db (for me b was set to -24db).

I started out as a DJ / EDM Producer roughly a year ago. I've spend countless days learning and have retained a lot. Already producting my own tracks and currently working on an album. Out of all of the videos I've watched and learned from, this has been by far the best. You tutorial was simple to follow and now I can put in my tool kit to get even more creative. I've subscribed soley for that reason. Can't wait to retain more of your knowledge. Thank you!🎼

Cool tutorial, you can also try using square waves instead of saw waves and it just gives it a different sound.

Your speaking voice is so similar to the guy with the gas can in Waking Life. That's a positive from my perspective. I always liked his speaking voice.

Yo Mr Venus, really great tutorial! I'm studying music production and I am making a dnb track as my final project, so this tutorial helped me a LOT! My only suggestion is removing or moving the blue bar with your social media links, cuz it's on top of everything you're doing. Maybe show it only once in a while. Anyways, THANKS MATE! Greetings from Brazil.

Footer was annoying but you crammed a lot into that. Good tips, thanks!

Followed step by step and all of my parameters match yours leading to the 2:00 mark and my result sounds nothing like yours. What could I be doing wrong?

If you're using a DAW besides Ableton and want to get close to Erosion's effect, download Melda's MFreqShifter, turn the main shape to noise and shift the frequency down until you can't hear any harmonics (about -950Hz). Run that and a band pass in parallel and you'll have something close.
