I recently installed a TPMS on my 450nk. There wasn't enough room on the handlebars but the factory mirror stems worked just fine.

When I had my XMAX, I ordered a spare center handlebar cover, which comes without the little round Yamaha insignia. My intention was to drill a hole in that spot and install a Ram type ball mount for a phone. It would be behind the center mount that you have. I thought it would be out of the way of the instrument panel and easily accessible. I never got to implement that plan before trading in the XMAX for an NC750X. The reservoir mount looks like a good alternative.

I did hear from other XMAX owners that the quad lock was the best choice and this video confirms it.
