Gabby Petito Family: ‘Brian We Are Asking You To Turn Yourself In’

The family and friends of Gabby Petito spoke out at a presser to announce that they are starting the Gabby Petito foundation to help others with missing loved ones. They called for Brian Laundrie to turn himself in and shared tattoos they got in honor of Gabby.

The amount of immaturity and outright heartlessness in the comment section is truly heartbreaking. I absolutely think that POC missing people should be broadcasted just as much and that is absolutely a discussion we should have, but to sit there and tell everyone to shut up and the family to “let it go and get over themselves” when their daughter was brutally murdered is just not right, man.

You can see the love in this family, even though Gabbys parents both have new partners, you can see all four working unitedly. In contrast the Laundrie family appears to be all over the place, closed off, uncaring, deceptive.

Turning himself in would be the right thing to do....Brian Laundrie won't do that. If he knew what the right thing to do was he would have squashed that trip as soon as things started going south, and took the van, himself AND Gabby back home, broke up with her and walked away. If he was tired of the traveling, couldn't or didn't want to deal with her anymore, regretted even any of it....he should have walked her heart...hurt her of that would have been the right thing to do. So no....he will not do the right thing. Plus....he will have to face not only Gabby's father, but also her step-father...and I think to someone as cowardly as Brian, that's worse than jail. Oh...he's gonna be very popular behind bars....cute little guy with that slick ole head. He will never be lonely. He's gonna get passed around like a big ole plate of buttered biscuits at grandma's dinner table. But where's he's going....there's no butter!!!
