Karlienne, thank you for reminding me how much I loved this song. Indeed I Heard it for hte first time in The snowman and it captivated me immediately, although I was too Young. But years later, when I turned 17 my parents gave me the first álbum of Celtic Woman, which stars with a great cover of this song by Chloe Agnew. Beautiful memories, your voice is a Godsend.

As a kid, I mean from like 4-16 I watched the Snowman at least three times every Christmas. It still by absolute favorite holiday classic. So naturally, I adore this song. There are so many memories and feelings wrapped up in it.
