Fab tour goes up this Friday! Check back for it. It is very difficult to get into these places, especially with the level of editorial control we mandate. We learned a lot from experts, both external to Intel and within it, about the fabrication process. As for the product-side stuff, it's back to the CPU testing very soon! Microcode, Windows updates, and AGESA are all on the list. Crazy how much it has changed!

I just patented the video content mechanism of telling your audience to imagine a transitional clip.
You will hear from my legal team.

I like that Tryx are actually listening to the reviews and not just ignoring them.

pausing sales and asking for detailed feedback is actually a very surprising move, and a welcome one at that. some of the issues with the case shouldnt have happened with the seasoned people they have on board in the first place, but still, admitting fault and looking for improvement is great.

Imagine if Namco patented the idea of having a character traverse an on-screen game map while avoiding enemies and collecting power-ups. The video game industry would have died on the spot.

This palworld lawsuit is incredible publicity

I can confirm that for my Fractal North replacement parts were free and no question asked. So I can personally believe when Fractal says this about their new case.

As a patent examiner, always interested to see cases like this pop up related to my hobbies. Also glad to see GN reporting just the facts (as expected!) - I saw other outlets spreading nonsense about this. Thanks, Steve!

I half expected Steve to start talking about Ford trucks after that intro music

No matter what is going on with the microcode issue, fabs are so amazing that to see inside of one is always amazing. We're talking about some of the most technical and complex factories that mankind creates. It is always a welcome surprise to see a tour of one! Cant wait

Mad props to Intel for letting you all do such a documentary without editorial review, that's _HUGE_ for something as highly sensitive as semiconductor manufacturing

I mean you could say people should boycott Nintendo over the Palworld thing, but sadly it would be as effective as telling people they shouldn't buy overpriced GPUs from NVIDIA..

Corsair should acquire a company that makes a software package manager that works.

Hats off to Tryx for taking those initial steps! But in all honesty that "airflow animation" in the review was AMAZING! 😂

Patents on video game mechanics are completely illegitimate and I think they're These big companies want to own the rights to anything they can and sue you if you try to make a game that the public would enjoy..

It's just ridiculous that someone thinks they get to own the concept of an arrow pointing at an Absurd nonsense.

A manufacturer where I once worked had a very prominent sign all over the plant (23:05) "A 1% failure rate on the production line is a 100% failure rate for the customer. It's nice seeing Noctua taking that to heart.

"we view them as separate things." Good. It's also important to keep everything in perspective. Can't wait for your video on Friday.
