It's pretty obvious she's the captain of the "United Federation of Transient Bridges with Imminent Domain" as per Article Three, Section B regarding the code of being in "right standing" as ordered by her husband. It's clearly written in the "law books" that the penalty for violating this is being lit on fire. Just ask Ulysses S. Grant.
