Great video! Thank you! I had to rewind a few times to learn to pronounce the peanuts - I love the lime ones!

In U.S. I’ve found Cacahuates Japoneses at the 99 Cents Only store, and in Mexican markets. The original Japanese peanuts are at Asian markets but no lime flavor though.

i would have added mole poblano, or chiles en nogada

PS - this weekend, the Tangerine Travels were in Tepotzlan and said they received negative comments that spooked them from visiting Cuernavaca. Both towns are on my wish list. I would love to see more videos about Cuernavaca relying on Martin's local expertise. I loved Puebla, Queretaro and Guanajuato - is Cuernavaca also a good place to spend a week or so?

Los cacahuates japoneses probably get their name from the Japanese immigrant that invented them in the 1940s

I am not sure why, but street food in Playa Del Carmen is not delicious at all :(. And also, in the restaurants, some dishes that was showed in this video are kind of missing many ingredients therefore not as tasty as it suppose to be.

Don’t call California Mexican food Tex mex. There’s barely ever cheddar. It’s more authentic than Texas. Tinga is a top 10.
