All you need to permanently solve a lack of hay is a sword with the haymaker enchant. Use that sword during green rain and you'll have hay for years.

When planting mossy seed if it is brown it gives you the wood trees, but if it is green it will be the fiddlehead tree. So if it's brown just dig it up and plant it until it's green. 🌱

You can put 2 end tables up on the eve of the Winter Star Festival and put cookies on one and milk on the other and you can max out at 2 boxes.

You can also adopt up to 12 pets. I have adopted one of each dog, cat and turtle. 🐢

They should have a book that make ALL shops accessable in anytime, not just Marnie's; im sure many experienced players don't frequent the shop at all, and are only there countable times to buy animals then at some point never; if it were not limited to Marnie you could be more than 3x more efficient.

The dehydrator takes 5 of the fruit/shroom and does this:
(Base Sell Price)*7.5 + 25
In other words, per crop it comes out to be:
(Base sell price)*1.5 + 5
For context, preserves jar is
(Base sell price)*2 + 50
And keg is
(Base sell price)*3

Only use dehydrators on crops that you have way too many of to process otherwise, such as Blueberries and Cranberries.
Use preserves jars instead of kegs when the base sell price is less than 50, and kegs for everything else
And also, don't put Gold or Iridium quality into Dehydrators, it's not worth it

You can make sure your mossy seed will make a tentacle tree. You plant it, and if it looks like a little brown seed, it's the wrong tree. Hit it to knock it back out of the ground without destroying it (can only be done on the same day as you've planted it, because it'll soon start to grow and then hitting it with the axe will destroy it), and plant it back. The tentacle tree's seed is green, so you'll know it's the correct tree if after planting it's green. Have fun with your tentacle tree forest.

unless you have tons of logs, pickling mushrooms in preserves jars is better, specially purple ones and chanterelles with their high base price.

Excluding crop grow time, the dehydrator has a pretty decent gold per day and is really good for mushrooms in the late game, but can also be useful in the early game before you hit level 8 farming

How do yall keep running out of hay???? Just put some grass starter under your animals' fences, and they'll eat outside grass that regrows pretty fast. You can also click on the hopper (next to the feeding tray) with an empty hand while the tray is not filled to pull out some hay and put it in your chest, so that your Silo doesnt fill up

you can buy summer squash and powder melons! you have to buy them from the raccoons

on number 19, if i remember correctly the 2 other moss trees spread moss to other nearby trees at a higher rate, so not useless if you need moss

at 42: Once you help the Raccoon, and he finds a wife, then you can buy the different seeds (Carrot, Squash, Broccoli and Powdermelons) from the female raccoon. She also sells the other rewards that you get from the helping the raccoon. :)
