It's incredible how you can take complex processes and break them down so simply without dumbing it down. Physiology at uni is the total opposite. They spend quadruple the time explaining it and I only learn like quarter of what I do watching these. I suppose you have the advantage of being able to be paused and rewinded over and over again though! Thanks so much for putting out free educational content.

Have you ever studied POTS? My daughter has SEVERE POTS - she was bedbound by 6yrs of age - her heart beats at 150-160bpm when standing still and getsmuchhigher if walking moving at all basically - making the bed sends it shooting up. She is on Ivabradine which works directly ontheSA node and has dropped the hr a bit but it is still really very high altho now she isn't bedbound but life is limited- she cannot attend school she is very tired and weneed to be very careful whta we do. I have been researching for 5 yrs and came across your videos - it is a neuro issue with the signals - just tryingto figure out if there's any new research done by peoplelike people with POTShave to drink electrolytes with magnesium, calcium, sodium, potassium wondering ifthis is because of what you have descrbed vs what is generally accepted to be because it helps with blood volume.

Do u think any maker to guide rotate sodium .calcium and potassium to drive depolarisation and repolarisation in out of pacemaker cell? All of insttuctor talk about potentiäl curve. Nobody clarify the chemical mechanism .thanks

I’m sorry I don’t understand the summary equal amounts must be entering and leaving over a period of a cycle. On the up slopes Na and Ca in, on the downslope K in?
