ME/CFS & Migraine Comorbid Communities Collaborate: We partnered with the Association for Migraine Disorders to host patients, researchers, and doctors for a discussion of myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS), migraine disorders, and their impact on women's health.

The webinar featured presentations by Dr. James Baraniuk (Director of the Chronic Pain and Fatigue Research Center, Georgetown University Medical Center), Dr. Nancy Klimas (Director, Institute for Neuro-Immune Medicine), and community members Georgia Linders and Melinda Lipscomb.

I was once 90 kgs n was then 38 kgs.... i know how hard it is 25years latter, 1997 i was told that i had cfs!!!! 💗

What doesn't make sense to me personally is, migraine pain keeps increasing exponentially over 24 or more hours. After 24 hours I sometimes scream till I pass out, wake up and start again. BUT, I have a high tolerance for other kinds of pain, including nerve injury. Why does the "anti-pain switch" work very well, even after some significant injuries, but nothing controls migraine pain? I am emotionally strong and not depressed. I am a very capable person with a lot of talents though chronic, severe, genetic (my mom had these terrible migraines) migraine takes a significant amount of my time. It is like nerve impulses above my neck are poorly controlled, and what is below my neck is normal or even better than normal.

Apparently you cant be diagnosed with cfs if you have chronic migraine because thats the cause even though i am? With heds
