Mate shooting sideways isn’t difficult and it’s been done for centuries, hell when I first got into archery I found it easier to grip my bow without string slap before I learned how to properly hold a bow. Aiming also isn’t a problem as you can aim it just the same, it’s the Hawkeyes draw weight that’s the only challenge here and a hell of one at that.

That's the problem you should have been training instinctive aiming since the beginning and I can shoot my 60# recurve just fine horizontal idk what your issue is
