Pretty much the same with a boost in night shots. Software upgrade on the 11 would make night improve but Apple won't do that. Need to move 12s.

Idk if the 11 Pro' camera is actually amazing to begin with that Apple has hit plateau in term of camera performance for their next flagship that they only upgrade the night mode in ultra wide camera + LiDAR feature.
I literally find most of the pictures between the 11 Pro and the 12 Pro, 99% the same.

I have watched 10 videos just tonight on the differences between these two cameras and THIS VIDEO has FINALLY answered my questions! The side-by-sides of the pictures and video have definitely helped me make up my mind! I’ve got an 11 Pro now and was thinking of upgrading to a 12 Pro for the camera and was confused about what the LiDAR Scanner actually did and this video just made my decision for me!! Thank you!!! most of the new camera features can be bought with the night mode app for a few bucks and utilized on the iphone 11 as well.

I was confuesed for a long time but finally decided on 12 pro..
Heres why-:
1)First of all it has a better camera with night mode, lidar.
2.) It has a flat screen i.e gr8 for gamers.
3.) It has more natural photos as compared to the 11 pro which has much more saturated phots.
4.) I'll get updates on the 12 pro maybe a year more than the 11 pro bcoz of the latest model.
5.) 12 pro has 5g

There is no reason Apple couldn't put night mode on their older phones and the 11 wide angle other than selling the 12. Android manufacturers all backported their night modes.

Edit: Apple also needs to work on those nasty alien reflections. It's been pretty bad on their past two phones as evidenced at 8:12 or the photo at 8:45 with the green lights starting at the trees and going into the sky.
