iPhone 12 Pro vs Pro Max: Real Differences after 1 week!

I've been using the iPhone 12 Pro Max for 1 week now.. and I've noticed some VERY interesting real-world differences compared to the smaller iPhone 12 Pro which I didn't expect!

Wondering if the iPhone 12 Pro Max is worth the extra $100 compared to the iPhone 12 Pro? I answer that question in this video!

I also discuss if the 12 Pro Max is TOO LARGE this year, due to it's massive 6.7" display.

One of the main differences I noticed was the battery life, and for some people, this might just make the Pro Max worth it!

I started with the 12 pro max because I thought the camera would be noticeably better. However, I just felt it was too big for me and felt like I was carrying around a tablet. The immersive screen is great for videos but for general usage like texts, web browsing, notes etc.. I felt it was just too much. I then got the 12 pro and held on to the max to make my own comparisons before returning one. I personally find the pro a lot more comfortable. I’m a camera enthusiast and have been selling all my mirrorless gear for the convenience of a phone and the differences between the pro and pro max were apparent upon close inspection but not enough to keep me having the max. As for battery life, I’m not sure how much usage the guy in the video is having in a day but my 12 pro has yet to run out of battery in a day’s use 🤔 I’m super happy with the 12 pro and I returned the max yesterday. It really does come down to personal preference.

Most people would never feel the camera bump in their jeans because most of us know to put the phone in your pocket with the screen against your leg. 2 reasons. Scratches and the accidental thigh bump on a table etc

Just went from 8 plus to 12 pro. I don’t notice the height difference just the width of the screen. Especially watching videos in landscape. However it’s way more comfortably to hold, and fits my hand like a glove. Not 100% sure how I feel but I’m enjoying the upgrade

No problems with the battery life on my 12 pro.... I've charged it overnight and used it all day without issue and it never had to be plugged in till i went to bed for the night

Silver version has no coating, that’s why it scratches so easily.

Edit 2: It has arrived and I love it. It’s a little too big but I think I will get used to the size.

I got the 12 pro max as a gift. Used it for 2 weeks and realised I couldn’t get used to it and it was too massive. It didn’t fit in my little hands and I was upgrading from a tiny iPhone 7. Today I’ve returned it and I’m going to get the iPhone 12 Pro in a few days. Excited and relieved!

Long-term Android user (Samsung: S7 Edge, S9+, S10+, Note 10+, Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra, Huawei P30 Pro, Mate 30 Pro) switched over last year with the iPhone 11 Pro Max. Got the 12 Pro Max as well, and even if it's not much of an update, I love it and have switched permanetly to the Apple ecosystem.

Love the 12 pro max!! Camera is amazing and the feel of it is awesome, plus that pacific blue 😍 battery is great, been getting 7-9 hours of screen on time every day for a week. I could get around 10-11 if I let my phone drain down to 0 but I don’t, I charge my phone when it gets to 20%. But all in all it’s a great phone and I highly recommend it!

I ended up getting the 12pro, for me coming from an iPhone 8 the 6.1" display feels massive with the phone itself only feeling a little bigger in my hands.

I can tell you this. I just bought the 12 pro max and im furious. there's a HORRIBLE hotspot (lens flare) that shows up on video. especially during night shots. this is unacceptable and im surprised more people aren't talking about this..
