Love this new approach of encouraging people to keep and be satisfied with their older tech. I can't remember which video it was of yours specifically (maybe pixel 4a) lately but when you really addressed not needing bleeding edge flagship tech especially at a time like this, with what people are going through it really made me respect you. It showed you are really connected to normal life of everyday people and not stuck in a tech reviewer bubble like some. It's refreshing to see how grounded and realistic you are, especially as a nurse that's worked through the pandemic and seen some pretty horrific things. Keep up the great work and this new line of reviewing while not adding to the issue of people feeling they have to upgrade whether they can afford it or not. People keep saying that there’s no reason to go with the pro this year and I really can’t understand the thought behind this. The 11 and the 11 pro were like 300 dollars apart with the same base storage. Meanwhile with the 12->12 pro you get better materials and design, an extra lens, lidar which actually makes a big difference in portrait mode, more ram, a brighter display and double the storage for 150$ more like what is people missing?

Hmmmm, I was first thinking of getting the regular 11 and then I started getting more interested of 11 pro. Then I noticed how the price difference with 11 pro and 12 pro wasn't that big so I looked into it, and now this guy is telling me that 12 is a better deal than 12 pro. I don't know anymoreeee

The change from the intel modem in my iPhone 11 to the Qualcomm in the 12 is night and day for me, and made me thankful I upgraded. Worlds better in terms of reliability, signal strength and speed. That’s on 4G as well, haven’t even tried 5G yet.

Still using my midnight green iPhone 11 Pro since launch. Still look brand new as I placed glass screen protector and have a good case. I agree iPhone 12 Pro is not much of a upgrade. The main thing I disappointed with the 12 Pro is why the smaller battery than the 11 Pro. You would expect bigger battery to handle 5G and a bit bigger screen. I’m waiting for the iPhone 13 Pro. Hopefully has the fast refresh rate screen and bigger battery.

Just jumped to the iPhone 12 Pro on t-mobile last night. Getting it in a few weeks because it's backordered. Went with the 256gb in pacific blue. 128gb just isn't enough space for me. Switching from the Note 10+.

Just wanted a flat screen again, 5g and more consistent os updates. While I like having the big screen for media consumption I wanted a smaller more manageable display with enough there to enjoy using it. A 6.1-6.3 inch display is that sweet spot.

I wouldn't recommend a 64 GB phone to _anyone, _ and if you up the 12 to 128 GB the price difference diminishes to $120.

That difference over the life of the phone gives you 2 GB RAM, a brighter display, a stronger frame, a LiDAR sensor, a telephoto camera ... and eventually ProRAW.

Hard to knock that.

BTW ... Deep Fusion on all cameras. Gotta love it.

I bought an iPhone for the first time in my life last year so that I can atleast use it for 4 years. After seeing this video I can surely say that I didn’t make a mistake buying iPhone 11 Pro and I’m sticking with it for 1 more year ❤️

PS :- I think midnight green looks better than pacific blue 🤭

I was on the fence to buy 12 pro or wait for the pro max however I upgraded from XS to 12 pro today and have no regrets. It a perfect size, yes pro max will be better but regular pro is for people who want absolute best in a manageable size. And battery seems to be fine and not an issue as other YouTubers are pointing. It will only get better with time as it’s a new chip and every year it happens, for the first few weeks the battery life seems weird however it get optimised on the way. I hope it will help someone that is on the fence.
