Suzuki has traditionally been known as the brand of speed and power, especially with the GSXR1000 superbikes during the 2000s. But now Suzuki is widening its reach, showing intellect, sophistication and maturity, but also not forgetting its roots.

Just a correction mate (as an owner) the screen has three levels of adjustment, but with tools unfortunately. I have fitted the Puig touring screen which is fantastic, the stock screen does not work on any setting for me at 183cm.

Nice Video. One can understand very quickly that the bike is fun to ride, and has advantages from both worlds: sprot & touring, but the video lacks data. I wish there were more specifications about the bike, rather than repeating on how fun it is. For example: the options for seat height in centimeters. "Seat height options" is a deal breaker or a deal maker for many riders, so isn't it here the perfect place to specify it? Also things like: Is there a steering damper? Are there tire pressure monitors? etc.
Thank you anyway :)

I sat on one this past weekend - felt like a great bike, but it was pretty pricey at $20K US. Maybe that was with the luggage, but take that away to save money and you're still at ~$19K US. How does that compare with, say, a Versys?

Interesting you don’t mentions the vibes on the bars, foot pegs, and seat that other reviewers noted. Frankly that does not lend itself to touring and/or staying on the bike for an hour, for example. I agree that the pettiness of a fixed windscreen on such a bike is glaring.

I would prefer is manufacturers didn't nerf their engines like this. We buy motorcycles with our ego. Technically, they could keep the rev limit 3000RPM lower in rain mode 1500RPM lower in Road Mode and then let you rev it all out in Performance mode.

Eh. But maybe that is just me. Because this engine could do 175 HP.

Do we need this? How much cost does this add? Our car has for many years had the spring rate and damping that the manufacturer, or the OEM/ offers as replacement part. Yet now, we all buy motorcycles with adjustable everything on the suspension, etc, ABS/TC.... Do you know what to do with it? Do you? Do you fuck. It's just technology you never will play with after the first week or two of owning the bike. This bollox is why motorcycling is expensive these days. Rant over, but not forgotten...
