FBI: Trump 'hid secret documents'

The US Justice Department says it has uncovered efforts to obstruct its investigation into classified documents at Donald Trump's Florida estate.

It says documents were likely "concealed or removed" from a storage room.

The FBI raided the former US president's Mar-a-Lago estate earlier this month as part of an investigation into whether he took classified documents from the White House.

documents that presidents have have to be checked before leaving the building and signed for, no president or agency can walk in the building and demand certain documents but they can have certain top secret documents from the years they were in office but no other documents from previous presidents can be obtained by them .
