Arches has an altitude of nearly 5, 000 ft, so be careful. Bring lots of water. Some of the trails are pure slickrock, so a smallish hike can be exhausting. I saw some pretty buff hikers get winded from the hike to Delicate Arch. Take it easy!!!

Entrance is $30 now, and that's for one park, seven days. Often it makes sense to pay $79 (less on ebay) and get an America the Beautiful pass, good for one year to all national parks.
