My dear old Dad brought this Mobility Scooter Online from Green Power a few months back It's been an absolute nightmare as kept breaking down.. No Refunds Ect , Customer Service absolute disgrace found out it's a Chinese Fake Shit.

I bought mine in October for walking my dog. We go out twice a day, 3 to 5 miles along footpaths, roads and fields. Front subframe failed but they sent me a new one. I used it all winter, through the floods, being careful not to go too deep. Had a few punctures so fitted knobbly tyres to rear. 300x10 pit bike tyres. Absolutely love it and so does my dog. Being arthritic doesn't mean I can't have some fun, and we do, every day. Thanks Green Power. 👌

With all due respect about these comments obviously some of you Disagree, But im stating this Yes the Research was done with Countless off Paperwork, We even sent the Scooter back to the Company Via Courier obviously we had to pay for that, They couldn't do the repairs as they haven't got the Parts, So it was sent back to my Dads Home Address .. These Scooters come disasemble to the Seller all they do is build them up to Sell on there Website ect, No other Company wouldnt entertain repairing these as can NOT BUY PARTS IN UK !! When we 1st had an engineer come out to repair it as wouldnt start, All he done was bypass the Ignition so had to be Started on the Fob, Then promised to repair ignition, Absolute Bullshit !! My dear old Dad ( RIP ) had sleepless nights because of this company.. SO ALL IM SAYING IF YOU BUY ONE MORE FOOL YOU GOOD LUCK WITH REPAIRS !! DO YOUR RESEARCH ( WEEKS ON END ) AS WE DID..
So if anyone wants to Slag me off because of this Video do ya best lol BUT AS I SAID MORE FOOL YOU IF YOU BUY ONE !!

Hi, thanks for the comments...I'm the other brother, who smashed the Scooter up. I back my brother up 100%. I can confirm that it is a fake copy of a Veleco machine model. I spoke to the only Veleco registered dealer in the U.K., baded in Shefford, Bedfordshire, who told me this!!

Oh and please don't buy a Canopy for this machine...totally unroadworthy and dangerous to the public and the rider. I reported this Canopy to Trading Standards. They said they would look into it. I never heard anything about it. However, my Dad (RIP) managed to get a refund for the Canopy. He had to wait months for it to be initially delivered, ironically....It was Chinese and was not approved road worthy officially by British Standards. Riding These scooters with canopies on are sadly, potential accidents in waiting. I feel sorry for all those vulnerable, old people and disabled people whom have been conned by Green Power!!! They deserve better instead of being taken advantage

I purchased a matt black one during covid time as wanted something different and was at a reduced price 0 miles from green power . The guy who delivered the scooter basically threw the keys at me and could wait go.. no induction to what's what with the scooter off he went.. only to realise the steering was twisted.. luckily im a bit clued up with things and managed fix it.. id used it few times but felt like was sitting twisted. Me and a friend looked at rear end only to notice rear end wasnt actually lined up properly and had drill new holes to line it up best we could.. then a few days later battery level was dropping really quickly and to come to scooter next day after there was no power took the black box out to realise the batteries had swelled.. I ring up scampower i now call them and they wernt interested at all i told them all my other issues id sorted myself.. they just fobbed it off as was something id done.. 😂 .. i bought new batteries as was my only form of transport and was awful after a month of use.. front suspension was solid that if had false teeth they'd rattle out or ur wrists would need surgery.. the rear end seemed to high up.. the wheels were way to cambered i had buy extentions to straighten wheels.. in the end id had enough this scooter went in storage until managed sell spares and repairs.. it cost me £1500 apparently new .. worst scooter ever owned and I would've recommended green power to anyone absolutely appallingly.. oh and as was using 1 day brake lever broke and crashed it luckily I was ok and no front end damage.. but please guys and ladys stay away from GREENPOWER 😡🤬

Green power are shite. I bought a JH500 and was nothing but trouble. The company didn't care either. Worst scooter and worst customer service ever. I'm sending mine back for a refund. It broke down in 24 hrs and 1st ride out after being fixed too. Total rubbish.

I’m taking delivery of mine today obviously a bit worried now. To be honest though I’m not too bothered about it being made in China I think you will find that most scooters of any brand probably are made there in fact most things that we use day to day are. I’m hoping my experience with Green Power will be better than yours. If I have any problems with it I certainly won’t be smashing it up with a sledgehammer.

Iv actually got one had it for 5 years and iv not experienced any think wrong I find it a waist smashing a mobility scooter up u could of sold it second hand but then if it was faulty then that’s a deferent story.

Ive had no probs with Greenpower. I did have a teething prob for a few months. 3 Wheeler ZT 500. But they sorted it out with no problem. By actually replacing it for a new one in the end. Been happy ever since. 2 years and no issues. But just recently the indicators dont work. Obv out of warranty now. But its a cheap simple fix. Its just the indicator relay that is all. You just got unlucky. But i dont think there is any real need for that kind of behavior. Just ridonkulous!

I got a Green Power HQ Triporter for free... The rear axle had torn loose because of bad welding and also alignment. Fixed it up fine. It has back up camera, talking alarm, heated grips (Canada) built in sound... It goes 20 mph easkly even on incline... It is locked in 3 different modes. It is all 60 volts, batteries, controller and motor. I understand your frustration though. This business really takes advantage financially of handicapped people. Often insurance companies or government covers the purchase so the costs are inflated.
There are some good companies in North America... Pride is one, and the technology and quality is improving.
One serious question...
Are you sure it really was a "Green Power" scooter? I have seen countless companies that have identical platic body panels as mine... And yours also.

Most mobility scooters come from China or Thailand some are made in the uk or Europe pride & shop rider are from the USA so your saying anything made in China is crap most of the cars on British roads are Chinese e-scooters are Chinese so cant all be crap can they
