It is more than four years ago that Portugal won their first ever trophy. Portugal didn't play the best football, but they had spirit. Cristiano Ronaldo also played very well. You can see his passion in the game vs France. Can't wait for the EURO '2020'. Congratulations Portugal on winning the EURO 2016!

Did any one saw Quaresma ... He was the underrated one, scored the winning goal in the 117 minute against Croatia ... Scored the winning penalty against Poland still nobody looked to him ... This is called truly underrated

Funny how people say Eder carried Ronaldo yet Portugal only scored 9 goals and Ronaldo was involved on 6 of them😂🤦🏿‍♂️

Other than in the final … we gonna ignore the fact Ronaldo had goal involvement - either a goal or assist - in every goal for POR except 1 !!! UNREAL 🐐

Funny things:
Portugal only won one match under 90 minutes(Wales), all other matches were draws under 90 minutes...
Ronaldo faced Modric, Lewandowski, Bale, Pogba&Griezmann, all world class players, on the road to victory.
On the other side of the tournament, Italy defeated Spain, Germany defeated Italy, France defeated Germany, and then Portugal won :)

Its incredible what portugal achieved in this competition. They were struggling to get to the knock out round even by playing with not-so great teams. And yes, nani was always underrated.

Sickest final i ever saw. I was chugging beer with a chinese guy that used to work in a sushi shop in a small town in Portugal... i almost couldnt look at the tv with the nerves. We ended up winning and partied in town all night long. Was crazy. Ended up skipping work the next day and i almost got fired ahahah ❤
