1. Thank you for this. Love love love this song and am so grateful for your help learning it.
2. Could you help me on the counting of the pattern? I think I am hearing 1 2a 3a 4 with the thumb on the low note on 1 and 3, and higher string on 2 and 4. But the hammer-ons screw me up. Is it really 1 2& 3& 4, and with a hammer on it becomes 1 2& 3&a 4?

I have a small question, about the intro picking section A chord, when counting one, two and (rest) and four and, I feel I hear the picking on beat two is landed on the 3rd string instead of the 4th string, when I listen to the original recording from:
However, as a beginner, I can not be 100% sure, and both ways sound nice. Could you help me verify this question? Thank you!🙏
