I am Catholic. My grandmother was a Taoist with several of her own rituals. I respect your rituals and look forward to incorporating them into my daily life. God bless ❤

My daughter has felt a calling to Shinto and as her mother, I appreciate videos like yours as a way of showing her I am in support of her.

That I embrace and respect where her heart has called her.

Thank you for this video♡

Your explanation looks lot similar to Amazonian spirituality. Although we live long distance, I believe we all connected through the Great Spirit. Cheers!

Thank you for this video❤️ in my family, we practice a blend of shintoism, Buddhism, & paganism (I am european-american/native american & my husband is from Japan). It is amazing how much is similar between all of the nature-based spiritualities. In our home, they blend seamlessly together to create a very positive energy and lifestyle that represents our family’s mixed heritage.

I enjoy Nature ever day as I fill my Bird feeders and watch them came to eat. The amazing aspect is that birds never over eat and stop when they have their fill. Shinto seems like a wonderful religion.

I've come upon the ideas of Shinto + Buddhism aftee being pushed into Christian practices as a kid. I find this very interesting, and I wish to adopt these as soon as I can. Thank you so much for your kindness and willingness to share!

In Mexico, Catholicism is the predominant religion, but I've always disagreed with their beliefs which made me cynical towards spirituality in a way. As years have passed I have sometimes felt the need to find something else, something greater, something to connect to, and I think Shintoism strongly resonates with me. この動画を作ってありがとうございます!

I believe there is one single shinto ritual: our life, every single moment. Living in profound emphaty with the Creation, Mother Nature.

Just having ways like this to reconnect with ones own nature and the environment around does wonders. Shinto have always felt natural in many ways and there is a deep calm that stems from it.

So I watched this “Artsy” movie called “kinds of kindness”

It was a weird movie!

And after I saw that movie it made me want to make my own idea for a artsy movie (or short film)

And it’s about the main character “Johnathan” and his dog gets stolen by two leaders who want to use his dog as a sacrifice for the tree “Amadeus”
(Loved by god)

(Also the leaders are naked)

And it gets worse after that…!

I didn’t know it was an actual religion from Japan I based my idea around that’s pretty cool!

You did a great job explaining everything!

I love Japanese culture! Shintoism has its roots in hinduism so there are many practices that are similar but it's explained in a more simple & precise manner in shintoism & buddhism

Arigatou gozaimashita. One celebration during wintertime is Hatsumode. (I wasn't able to attend due to our kannushi retiring and closing the shrine though.😢 Instead, I prayed at my kamidana, which is not the same.)

I might consider swapping from Christianity to Shintoism as an Australian. The religion seems much more peaceful and respectful

Shinto is something i've recently learned about in a study for class. I have been doing some of the practices without thinking about it, cleaning really does brighten my environment and cleanses the energy. Right on

Thank you Azumi for offering us nice simple deep and important things not only in Shinto, but also in things between the self (mental, psychic and physical) and nature. God pervades everything.
