It was badass how Blue Eyes was protecting his brother and then Caesar came in being a badass, one of the best scenes in the film.

I kinda like that Caesar points the Gun at Malcolm's family.
Sorta like a "oh now when someone threatens YOUR family it's important"

Little Cornelius is so sweet and adorable. I actually tear up a little bit when he holds Ellie's finger.

Hell yeah! Big brother protecting his baby brother. Dad protecting his sons. You love to see it.

Imagine a bunch of apes having better manners than humans.

Such a tragic scene. They were so so close to forming a human and ape cooperative and building a better world together. All it took was one gun and a rash decision to screw it all up.

It's funny this film was released the same summer as Transformers: Age of Extinction because I found that Caesar and Optimus had similar personalities. Mistrustful of Humans, but maintained some level empathy for them because of past experience with them. Optimus with Sam; Caesar with Will.

Fun fact: If you look at Caeser's finger, it was always off the trigger

The most tragic part is how they are treated like misbehaving animals when all they were doing was defending themselves

1:55 and 1:58 Caesar looks like such a badass holding that gun

I finally noticed that Caesar wasn't just trying to kill for no reason but because that dude grabbed the gun and trying to kill blue eyes after Caesar told him no guns Ceasar was trying to be protective

Caesar had every right to be pissed off during this scene. He cut these humans TONS of slack and them do their work even tho it didn’t benefit him in any way because he had mercy on them. Plus he was already facing pressure from the other apes by trusting them so much, and they broke that trust! Brought in guns after he was very clear not to, and on top of that THREATENED his family. And Malcom had the audacity to tell Caesar to stop when he lost his cool. I was 100% rooting for the apes this whole freaking movie and didn’t care if humanity went extinct lol

The fact that Cesar didn’t harm any of the humans, due to the fact that one of them brought a gun and threatened the apes. Just shows how much more intelligent the apes are than humans

Caesar: ‘I Said No Guns…. Human Leave NOW!”

What really pisses me off about this scene is when Malcom yells at Caesar and tells him “NO!” when he’s about to kill the scumbag who snuck a gun in and threatened his family. It wasn’t like a pleading for mercy “no” either, or trying to appeal to his better nature. It was like someone telling their dog to heal for snapping at someone else, as if Malcom suddenly treats Caesar like an animal he has control over for protecting his family. Not to mention Malcom has zero control over the situation and is at Caesar’s mercy so he really can’t make demands or control Caesar by simply telling him “NO!” Caesar does stop tho, but quickly reminds Malcom that he isn’t a dumb animal and that they are only there because he allows them to be.

Cesar has trigger discipline. That's actually pretty cool
