DIY Dry Cleaning for Decorative Pillows

Did you ever wonder about DIY dry cleaning for decorative pillows? You can vacuum pillows using a vacuum hose with a brush attachment and that will get the dust off them, but from time to time (usually, we do this annually) they need to be dry cleaned with a damp mixture that removes the remainder of the dust.
In this situation use, 1/4 cup of rubbing alcohol 70% diluted with 1 gallon of water.
After vacuuming the pillows (or valances, lampshades, or tapestries) don a microfiber mitt and dip it in the alcohol/water mixture. Squeeze out so the mitt is wet but not soggy. Go over all the fabric surfaces that need to be cleaned. BAM!
