The elderly population lose their balance frequently. For them to perform their self care safely, they need to have good balance.
As Occupational therapists, we need to help them improve their balance. In this video, I am going to show you sitting exercises to improve their balance and prevent falls.
Here are the exercises:
1. Hand Pumping
2. Ankle pumping
3. Looking up and down- moving your head up and down
4. head turning side to side
5. neck circles
6. Reaching side to side
7. Reaching Up and Down
8. Sit to Stand
