I'm going to whisper this so they don't hear, your lists are blowing Ian and James out the water. Brilliant!!

Actually Mike, I thoroughly enjoyed your last video and felt it was just long enough. This one although still wonderful felt a little sped up, kind of like you were on fast forward. I"ll be checking out 'The Incident'. That's one I have never heard of. Keep em Oh yeah my fav b&w sci-fi from the 50's is "The Thing from Another World"{1951}.

Hi Mike,
Wow, you surely showed some of my favorite all time movies in this one. Too many to mention actually. Which leads me to believe that I do not have a top 25 best movie list at all. I better change it to my top 75 best movie list. You just reminded me of so many films that I love. Some of the ones that you showed that I loved were Easy Rider, Donnie Darko, Annie Hall and of course the wonderfully entertaining record collecting movie High Fidelity. "Customer: Do you have Soul? Rob: That all depends"
Thanks for sharing all of these Mike. You know, I thought I would be missing Quentin's movies but I cannot say I have been so far~

I have only seen clips of High Fidelity. As someone that shows vinyl on you tube videos I need to correct that. Maltese Falcon would be much much higher on my list. I have a deluxe 2 DVD version of Woodstock that has outtakes. Some of the performances not included in the film are better than what was included. I saw your top 5 Criterions video and must add that one of mine is the deluxe version of the concert at Monterrey. I could be mistaken but i haven't seen any films by Hitchcock or Kubrick. Enjoyed the video.

The Conversation is a masterpiece and one of the key films of the 70's. Maltese Falcon may be my favorite Noir.I love Greenstreet in it.

The Conversation... you know, I love the movie as well and I still don't know what the hell happened in the end... The Tingler - I got to see it in NYC in th 90s which actually had buzzers in the seats... Educating Rita - I haven't seen that movie since the 80s; great movie.

Meet me in St. Louis is a peerless portrayal of America at the turn of the 20'th century, an easy 5 star.
