I am enjoying your lists, it seems that we have the same taste in classic films!!

Some great choices indeed! I'm enjoying your lists as you choose movies that are great, classic films but wouldn't be common on many people's favorites list.

Lots of "Classics" in this one, Mike. Looking forward to the next video...

Hi Mike,
Ah, getting closer to your top 25. Which ones will be included and which ones will be excluded? Only time will tell.
Laura was such a great movie. I must have seen it at least three times. Ah, there you go, Brokeback will always be one of my favorites. I still have one of the promotional funny sized books that they gave to critics during the opening screening. It was a gift from a friend and it is really sharp. You fell asleep during Blow Up? Thank heavens you got to see it and appreciated it the second time around.
Thanks for sharing these Mike. See you in the top 25~

My favorite film is Casablanca. The cast is fantastic. If we consider the casts of our classic films, we see that it would be impossible to assemble as much talent today for any film.

I will definitely check out that Antonioni film with Eclipse in the title - his movies that I've seen like "Blow-Up" and "L'Avventura" are so mesmerizing... Nice to see those Universal Horror and Val Lewton films in the list - can't go wrong with "Laura", "Jezebel", "Witness For The Prosecution"etc..

More power to you on "Mark Of The Vampire", Mike ... while it's a nice-looking and atmospheric film, the ending sinks it for me. I have never been a huge fan of "The Mummy" (believe it or not), but I like Karloff's performance, and I agree with you that the opening scene is horrific and still packs a punch without showing much. I love "Crimes And Misdemeanors", and feel it's one of Woody's very best of all time.. Several years ago I got heavily into Bette Davis and found "Jezebel" a very good film of hers... I do think "Bride Of Frankenstein" is superior to the original, but then again they're both quite different ...

I think Casablanca has to be in my top 10.

Movie "enthusiasts" who have never seen a film made before 1980, have no clue as to what they are missing.
