Very very good idea that children should be made aware that the whole world is not about them rather they are needed for a higher purpose and they should be aware about it from the very early age. The title of the book in its self will create a sense of responsibility among young children that they are needed no matter what, they are needed not just by their parent who might get divorced, abundance them, or G-d forbid day even in the most adverse conditions in life if they are living that means they are needed by the divine and from there onwards they would look for why they are needed for what purpose and then they will focus only on that rather then themselves and the so called their non existing needs. Thank you Rabbi I am not yet married but will definitely get this book for hopefully my children in near future and now for my sister's daughters. Thank you so much for doing this for the younger generation.

I really like your encouragement that we didn't make ourselves. I would say, however, that Torah teaches us clearly that HaShem has set two paths before us, life and death and calls us to choose life. Moshe describes the blessings and that curses that follow from that chose. Also, the wicked are consigned to Gehenna (so there are eternal consequences). Christianity understands that sin has consequences, because that's what Torah teaches and it understands that vicarious atonement was HaShem's idea. Also, because of Torah.
