Edit to add: I wondered if cacciatore was similar to chausseur meaning "in a hunter's style" and it is! Yum yum yummmy!

I'm constantly amazed by all of the great recipes I learn from watching Pasquale cook. We've learned how to make olive bread, steamed mussels, chicken marsala, chicken vesuvio, ... and all of them have blown away our dinner guests. I'm a huge fan! Thankyou! Tonight we're trying this recipe!

My mother from Naples, Italy used to make this with red wine vinegar and not wine. She also used the same veggies and tomatoes, and also used a jar or Giardinare, which are Italian pickled veggies. I have to give it a try with the red wine.
