In this episode of FactSpark, we are going to the eastern tip of the African continent and explore 5 astonishing geographical features of this region.

Along this journey through the eastern coast of Africa, we will take a look at the East African Rift System, the African Great Lakes, crazy precipitation patters in the center of East Africa, The Big 5 game of Africa and finally, the newest country on the world Stage, South Sudan.

EAC, (The EastAfrikan Community) also had a geographic definition.

the monsoon heavily rains in costal areas of Somalia from down south and ends in Mogadishu, other parts of Somalia get ferocious dry winds with no rain? with same wind passed Mogadishu and other costal towns like Kismayo, Barawe or Marka.

This video is awful. How on earth did it start as something about East African geography and end up being a political rant? It barely covers Somalia and South Sudan and only briefly mentions Kenya and Uganda with complete disregard of Burundi, Rwanda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Madagascar, Seychelles, and other island/costal states?
