I was a valet back in the day. I did this job as a supplement to breaking into the financial sales realm. I also delivered pizza in college, mostly during the summers. I can say with certainty that 99%+ service industry employees do not report full tips, regardless of political orientation. I really only met one such person that was completely honest in that way. I believe he was once an eagle scout. Service industry tips, however, should not be taxed as many of these people are living subsistence lives with no savings.
