This week I bring you my new song "Pressure" inspired by Guts from Berserk. This anime was INTENSE to say the least. It was so dark and needed the right song to match. I hope you all enjoy this one as much as I have creating it!

Where to stalk me:

Guts, renowned as the "Black Swordsman", is a former mercenary and branded wanderer who travels the world in a constant internal struggle between pursuing his own ends and upholding his attachments to those dear to him.

At one time driven solely by his will to survive, Guts finds purpose in life upon joining the Band of the Falcon, greatly helping in the faction's storied successes during the Hundred-Year War as captain of the band's raiders. He eventually becomes dissatisfied with clinging to Griffith's dream and departs from the band in pursuit of his own. Following the horrors of the Eclipse prompted by Griffith, Guts embarks on a two-year war against the God Hand and apostles, becoming increasingly embittered on his one-track quest for retribution. He in time realizes protecting his regressed lover is more important to him, as well as something he cannot do alone, and thus puts aside his quest for revenge while fostering camaraderie with new companions.

Everyone assumed he'd be doing a raging heavy metal song for this one. The thing is that people tend to forget is that Berserk is at its core a black hearted tragedy. Divide gets it....

this is a dark song, filled with hints of hope, and tons of determination. just like Guts himself. I say you captured the character perfectly with this song.

Berserk is one of my all-time favourite stories, after the sad passing of the author I'm unsure if the story will ever be finished, seeing this song has reminded me to have hope as people still make new things for it.

A story of a Man so broken he's given up on even himself, but he holds onto that sliver of hope, no matter how small it be, lest he gives in to the demon inside.

This song catches Guts' turmoil, pain and struggles perfectly.
Not a heavy metal song that can't hit that emotional damage inside. (even if the heavy metal songs are good in there own rights)

This song fits Guts to every extent

A man who got beaten and broken down by the most evil bits of the world, every atrocity the world had they threw at Guts. But he still gets up, he gets up to fight again and won't back down.. even despite the fact that the price to get back up, was to throw away everything he had mentally and emotionally... everything except his rage

The pressure hit hard and caved in on him a bit, but he powers through in the end.
