What do you think about this theory? What quest do you have?

I’m still on the trip count bonus. I still get plenty of the short rides that fit within my algorithm (time to pickup+time to destination must total 14 minutes or less) and am still hitting 70+ rides in 14-18 hours driving just Friday and Saturday nights.

I chase trip count bonuses with the least miles that I can. Meaning, trips that go where I want to go and then short trips in my favorite college town.

I would chase money quotas with the fewest trips possible. Meaning, sit at home and wait for long trips or sit in my favorite college town and wait for highest surge trips.

Signed me up for the long distance trips because that’s where the money is at least in my market. I hate the short trips.

Well that explains it I’m still ride number based promos and I do get a lot of long ride requests. 🤔

Uber and Bolt are killing drivers in Nigeria.... Check the internet.... Subsidy was removed, we used to buy fuel for #185, now it's #500 to #750 per liter depending on the state in Nigeria, yet Uber and Bolt are refusing to increase the fare. We barely even get back the fuel money after work, this made the drivers Union called AUATWON to go on strike for days now. Pls talk about this😢

I just started with Uber and can someone actually breakdown what each of those bonuses are? Which one exactly do you get bombarded with long trips and the other short trips? Because honestly, I like the longer trips. I’m in New Jersey, so we can’t see a freaking thing of where we’re going until we pick them up but for some reason I’m getting short trips now and it’s pissing me off. But I’m doing the quest each week but I’m also actually headed to the shore now because between certain hours you get $3 extra for each trip finished. Now we know good and well we really aren’t getting the $3 so they just make us think that. But somehow I’m getting shorter trips at the airport in New Jersey where before I was getting longer trips but I’m not sure what happened since I can’t see where I’m going until I pick up the passenger.
