This game was one of my favorite games growing up as a kid. The voice lines alone I didn’t understand as a kid, but remember playing with my parents and they would be dying laughing. I’m 31 now almost 32 and I played and emulated version of Enter the Gecko and Gex 3 and I can say with confidence, this game has some of the best voice lines in gaming to this day.

I disagree with this take. Gex 64, played by my little kid self, was a heck of an adventure filled with secrets and imagination. Was it as great as Gex 1 on 3DO? No.

However, as colorful and fun as Gex is, his species holds some dark secrets. For example, some species of geckos exhibit cannibalistic behavior, especially in situations where food is scarce. Juvenile geckos are sometimes at risk of being eaten by larger adults, including their own kind.

Also, male geckos, like Gex here, can be aggressive during mating, often biting and holding onto the females, which can lead to stress or injury. This behavior ensures mating success but can be traumatic for the female geckos.

This game as a child made you laugh the whole way.

Theres also secrets everywhere for example straight at the beginning you can play in the titanic.

The dialogue was the best.

Gex64 was easily in my top 5 games on N64
