'It's VERY Petty!' Royal Expert SLAMS 'Childish' SNP Snub To Hang Royal Portrait In Public Buildings

SNP ministers have launched a revolt against plans to offer Scottish schools a portrait of the King, claiming the £8 million scheme is a waste of public money.

Deputy Prime Minister Oliver Dowden requested an “exhaustive” list from the Scottish Government of buildings such as schools, police stations and council offices that would qualify for a free framed picture of Charles under a UK-wide initiative.

However, the Scottish Government, led by republican Humza Yousaf, is set to snub the project celebrating the monarch's reign.

Family members are entitled to embrace their fellow relatives and the message is clear that Andrew will never be a working royal again. Anything that's funded by the government should have a picture of the Head of State in it. I only wish the official portrait was more inspiring - I find the background to be very depressing. Meghan has been telegraphing her return to Instagram since The Cut interview over a year ago but has only gathered 103, 000 followers. Where are her Tig fans? Where are the Sussex Squaddies? Even at the height of her popularity she couldn't move the needle on anyone's sales so this will most likely be another failure.
