Metal Saga to me will always be Prime Beyblade to me. I had so much fun watching this as a kid & glad people still have discussions about it till this day.

If Ryuga was able to succeed at getting all the star fragments he probably would've been able to evolve Ldrago Destroy into something we couldn't even imagine.

Cool thing that people still talk about Beyblade metal saga. Brings back memories

What I love about the metal fight series is that no one questions a kid owning a beyblade that can literally rip someone's face off.

The sad thing is that Ryuga didn't even think to use final survive combined with absorb mode on Rago. It would've been extremely useful and he probably would've been able to take some of the power Rago stole from him back, if not more.

That’s true, they did say that going after L-Drago was all part of the plan to fulfill Hades’ prophecy, and Doji mentions that Ryuga was meant to be what Rago is. Maybe they believed that the second star fragment (the one that became L-Drago) was the “new light, ” and that the “pit of darkness” was the one inside L-Drago already. So maybe they thought L-Drago would essentially be the revived Nemesis of the prophecy. Additionally, like was said in L-Drago’s origin story, the fragment already contained some
inherent darkness… Ryuga overcame the dark power created by humans’ emotions, and became one with the power of the original star fragment itself. But that star fragment originally already contained darkness, just not the increased version from humanity. So Ryuga still became one with darkness, but the inherent one already originally inside L-Drago’s star fragment, rather than the sentient force created by absorbing humanity’s emotion.

I would love to see Ryuga come back in a new beyblade metal series

I love how we’re trying to insert logic into a series where 5 people pulled up to capture someone and pulled out beyblades on him 😂

Small theory of mine, spin stealing works by having a slower spinning bey absorb a faster spinning bey's power. Now because L-Drago is an attack type, it is constantly burning energy so it constanly absorbs spin. What I think is the reason why it couldn't absorb, Nemesis might have been spinning slower and absorbed L-Drago through L-Drago's own rubber

The story would've been way cooler if by some plot twist Ryuga actually stole Orion's star fragment. Tension builds as Nemesis keeps getting closer to his release and Ryuga steals more star fragments, with the future looking more and more bleak. Then in a twist of things, the heroes are able to convince Ryuga to save the world from nemesis using the almighty power he gained from all the star fragments. Ryuga then passes as the release of the full power of all the star fragments overwhelms his body and it's shown he knew that would be a consequence. With his original motive for stealing the star fragments being to become the most dominant blader in the world he would realise midway through his conquest that he would never be able to use his full strength as his body would not be able to tolerate the release of so much power. So when he turned and chose to save the world, he understood that sacrifice.

I just personally think that would be a lot more interesting than what ended up happening.

Also I feel like they should have said the fragment of the black sun that formed Nemesis had a small portion split off, and that was the piece that became the original Lightning L Drago centuries later. Just would have tied the story together I think.

About the control of the dark power. It also could be because rago embraces the dark energy, as where ryuga vs kyoya in metal fusion happened, the dragons looked at ryuga and he was confused. And vs gingka, he yelled for L-Drago to stop.

The real reason L-Drago couldn’t absorb Nemesis’s power is most likely because of the damage to the Face Bolt from his battle with Kenta.

I think thats why ryuga's aura was orange in masters which i think symbolised his pride, fairness nd stuff and the fact tht he had changed as a person for the better after the events of masters...but in fury ryuga gets overwhelmed with greed yet again so his aura was more reddish ig

Rago accepts the dark power but ryuga rejected it and made it his own that’s why he couldn’t control it so of course he couldn’t absorb nemesis’s power because ryuga would of rejected it and tried to turn it into his own power which is too much for him to do greed and being the strongest isn’t enough rago had true negative energy and bigger goals which nemesis could feed off of

20:43 Nemesis and Ldrago fs come from the black sun. Ldrago was prolly a replacement host for the black sun, but it unfortunately lost released all the power it had accumulated, as well as later being conquered by Ryuga and freed from the dark power of the black sun. When Rago states "Nemesis has become the God of Destruction" I believe that refers to the black sun fully hosting Diablo Nemesis. Both Nemesis and Ldrago were originally hosts or avatars of the black sun (which is the god of destruction itself), but only Nemesis (the Beyblade) was able to successfully host and become the black sun and G.O.D, while Ldrago became its own thing.

TL;DR Nemesis is just the name of the Beyblade. The God of Destruction is the Black Sun, which then merged or became Nemesis after it fully hosted them. Ldrago was probably a second wind attempt by the black sun to create another host or avatar of itself while Nemesis was sealed away, but Ldrago became its own thing so the link was severed.

My opinion:-
While l drago became lightning l drago by absorbing human darkness, anger etc nemesis had the power of black sun something whose power is said to be unlimited and comes from a place outside the universe so nemesis has the upper hand in absorbing and the special stadium makes it worst

Maybe prototype Nemesis was specifically designed to absorb star fragment power in that rigged ancient stadium. There was probably no other way it could steal power in any other stadium or condition, perhaps. Even if proto nemesis was knocked out, the stadium could be a fail safe

Bro I'm a huge ryuga fan and this help me understand why l-drago failed against nemesis but ryuga is still number one and that's facts

I think watching the battle between Ldrago and Nemesis after looking at everything in the way this video has framed the information given to us is just sad. Ryuga, the character we as kids either loved or hated during Metal Fusion, grew as a person through the series, but he still had greed for the betterment of his own selfish ways. He always wanted to be on top, and his goals were really always the same: to take over. He rejected the dark power, and made it his own when he wasn’t able to just accept it, remember it overwhelmed him when he became literally “one” with it. He was never truly built to take the dark power in its blunt form like Rago. I love Ryuga as a character, he’s my favorite character in the series, but watching the infamous battle thinking of it this way makes it look like the failed-replacement going up against the real deal, refusing to accept that he isn’t that guy. Ryuga spent his entire beyblading career trying to prove to himself that he was the guy, he was the strongest and that he has overcome the biggest hurdle in beyblading. He tried to prove to himself that there was nothing that could stop him, and that there was nothing he couldn’t control just like when he rejected the dark power. The rejection is what makes him different from Rago. Ryuga could have never won the battle, and he could have never become the strongest that ever lived because he simply wasn’t built to handle the amount of power that Rago accepted like it was nothing. That is the difference, and it’s rather sad. I think during the course of that last battle Ryuga had, he must have realized this. There’s moments where he breaks character, and genuinely seems astonished, fearful, and shaken. He went through all the stages of grief during that battle, finally coming to acceptance of his demise, passing on his power to Kenta when he accepted the fact that he simply was not Rago. Even if he wasn’t Rago, I still think he was the strongest human to ever live.
