This is actually great advice. You are 100% correct. Consolidation, expansion then the either reversal or retrace. Everything after that would be considered a market structure shift. Great video!

Would looking for a liquidity sweep beforehand help here? Notice in your example equal highs are left behind on the first dump. At the very least you’d want to see a second FVG with retracement but I’m sure HTF consideration would also be an element.
